Volunteer Requirements
Tiger Shark Team participation requires family involvement! Parents play an essential role in making our season successful by volunteering at meets and events.
- Volunteer Points: Each family must complete at least 10 volunteer points per season. Points are earned through roles at meets, fundraisers, banquets, ASA Championships, Lock-In, and more.
- Training Provided: No experience needed—training and instruction are provided, and volunteering is fun!
- Opt-Out Option: Families who choose not to volunteer must submit the Volunteer Opt-Out Form and a $500 fee.
- Non-Compliance: Families who do not complete the requirement (without prior approval from the Swim Team Representative) will be fined $500 at the end of the season. Unpaid fines result in a 1-year suspension from the team.
- Concessions: Each family must also sign up to bring items for our Home Meet Concession Stand.
Parent volunteers are the backbone of our team—we cannot run meets and events without your help. The fine exists to emphasize the importance of participation, not to place a financial burden on families.
