Welcome to the Lindmoor Woods Tiger Shark Swim Team!
We’re thrilled to have swimmers ages 4-18 join our Tiger Shark family! Our team is built on spirit, sportsmanship, and self-improvement—where every swimmer is encouraged to grow, challenge themselves, and celebrate each other’s success. Together, we cheer loud, swim hard, and have fun both in and out of the pool.

The Lindmoor Woods Tiger Sharks Swim Team is led by the Swim Team Pool Board Representative and the Swim Team Committee.
Team Mascot: Swim Shady
Ages: 4-18 (by June 1 of the current year)
Age Groups (Boys & Girls): 6 & Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18
Participation Requirements
Because we are not offering a Junior Sharks program this year, all swimmers must be able to independently complete one full lap of the pool without touching the bottom or holding onto the lane lines; technique and speed are not important, but swimmers must be able to safely swim the full length on their own. Swimmers who are unable to complete a lap unassisted at the first practice will need to be removed from the roster, and participation and ASA fees are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure a safe and positive experience for all swimmers.
Registration
You must be a current paid member of the Lindmoor Woods Swim & Tennis Club to register for the swim team. Registration runs from mid-March through mid-April. After the April ASA deadline, late registration will still be accepted with an additional fee.
Season Schedule
- Practice Begins: May (current year)
- Meets & Practices: May-June
- Practice during the school year: After-school practices.
- Practice after school ends: Morning practices, with optional afternoon practices available for swimmers attending morning camps.
- Time Trial Meet: Held before the season begins to record swimmer times and train parents in volunteer roles.
- Weekly Meets: Five dual meets throughout the season.
- ASA Championships at Georgia Tech: Optional event, additional entry fee required.
- Season Banquet: End of June – food, fun, and awards.
Team & Community Traditions
- Annual Fundraiser: Duathlon (swim + run event).
- Volunteer Requirement: Families must earn 10 volunteer points per season to avoid fines and penalties.
