Who Gets a Buddy:
- Big Buddies are assigned only to swimmers in the 6 & Under and 7–8 age groups.
- New swimmers in older age groups may also be assigned a buddy if needed.

Big Buddy Responsibilities:
- Cheer for their Little Buddy during meets.
- Help them get to the bullpen on time.
- Make sure events are written clearly on their arms.
- Provide encouragement and support throughout the meet.

Buddy Tradition:
- LIttle Buddies cheer for their Big Buddies during meets.
- Buddies often exchange small gifts at each meet — such as a note, drawing, favorite snack, or small trinket — to celebrate team spirit and friendship.
